There is a big difference between sitting on a horse, and truly riding. Here at Cedar Ridge, you will learn to ride. We can help riders develop a goal set that works best for their life style. We teach primarily huntseat, saddleseat, and western pleasure. However, If there is something specific you'd like to work on, we usually can accommodate.

Requirements & Pricing

Lessons costs:

​

- 1 hour private lesson: $30

​

-1/2 Hour private lesson: $20

​

- 1 hour trailer in/border lesson: $20

​

- 1 hour Group lesson* $25/person

​

*to participate in a group lesson all riders must be steering independently.

We do have a few requirements to ensure everyone has a great time:

​

1. Riders must wear long pants and sturdy, closed toe shoes.

​

2. Riders must wear a helmet.

​

3. Riders must be at least 3 years old. 

​

4. Come prepared with anything you may need- water bottles in the summer...gloves in the winter...ect

​

5. We currently have a 200 lb rider weight limit.
